Give Yourselves Room!
With its grand Ballroom and Reception areas, The Mansion itself can seat up to 90 guests for a buffet style luncheon or dinner and up to 150 guests for cocktails. Enjoy your exclusive use of our three exquisite rooms: the Ballroom, the Drawing Room and the Library.
The Mansion features classic hardwood floors, high ceilings with original moldings, elegant chandeliers, windows along three full sides, softly decorated with historically appropriate colours and window treatments. Garden doors invite guests to walk out to a stately covered outdoor terrace complete with cocktail tables and chairs. Enjoy the warm lake breezes while overlooking the tranquil setting of the pond area with water fountain.
Room Capacities
The Penryn Mansion consists of three main rooms: the Ballroom, the Library and the Drawing Room. The Mansion's preparation kitchen is available for our on-site caterer to use while preparing your meal.

The Bridal Party is also welcome to make use of a separate bathroom and dressing room that is located on the second floor of the Mansion prior to the ceremony, or to freshen up during the evening.
In addition to the Mansion, the surrounding grounds offer the perfect opportunity for your wedding ceremony, whether it is inside the Mansion or outside on the beautiful grounds.
Take it Outside!
If it is your dream to host your wedding ceremony outdoors, Port Hope Golf & Country Club has many scenic locations that would be an ideal choice. Choose from the gazebo overlooking the course and Lake Ontario, the archway leading to the exquisite pool area, or elsewhere on the grounds. No matter what location you choose with Port Hope Golf & Country Club, you can’t go wrong.
These are wonderful alternatives to the traditional church service bringing all your guests to only one location to share your special day. Your guests can socialize and enjoy refreshments on our terrace and surrounding grounds overlooking the golf course while you have your wedding photos taken on our spectacular grounds.
For weddings requiring room for more than 110 guests, the unique option of an elegant tent wedding or reception is available. The magnificent grounds can accommodate a tent for as many as 350 guests.
Our Manager of Hospitality & Conference Services will assist you in all facets of acquiring the perfectly sized tent for your event.
